I’ve planned and picked the parts for this pc back in May 2020 while I had iMac pro 2018. Not that I didn’t like my iMac which was a beast but honestly I wasn’t so impressed with the graphics card performance even though I maxed the graphics configuration to the max (Radeon Pro Vega 64X with 16GB of HBM2 memory) and many C4D renderers work best with CUDA from Nvidia (CUDA is a parallel computing platform and application programming interface (API) model created by Nvidia).
My iMac specifications:
3.0GHz 10-core Intel Xeon W processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz
64GB 2666MHz DDR4 ECC memory
Radeon Pro Vega 64X with 16GB of HBM2 memory
1TB SSD storage
Back to my pc build, I heard many rumors about the upcoming Nvidia 3 series but couldn’t wait, because my used iMac price was dropping fast and also because geeks can’t wait.
